I suck at writing in this thing.
Last weekend was Brad and Liz's baby shower. Scott and Bryan came over Friday. On Saturday, we hit the town, getting snacks and presents for the shower. We went to Crumbl, where we discovered the awesomeness of raspberry cheesecake cookies. Hobby shop, DXL, Bath & Body Works, Total Wine, where I got some raspberry cheesecake liqueur. Went to Walmart, came back here, fucked around.
Sunday we got up and went early to The Loft to help Liz and Brad set up with her family. It was lovely. We had a good time. The food was awesome. HCC attendees were: Derek C, Stacie, Adam, Glenn, Derek, myself, Scott, Bryan, Brittany at the very end. It still really fucks me up that Brad's about to have a kid. It's surreal to read about someone you grew up with doing shit like wearing "I Make Pies Out of My Fat" shirts and slathering strawberry frosting all over himself for a gig when he's about to be a Dad in a month. He's gonna be such a good Dad. The consensus was far and wide that Winter will definitely be a Daddy's girl.
After the baby shower, we went back to my place so we could change and I could walk Jack. We decided to go hang out at Brittany's. I took Jack because I didn't want him stuck in the cage all night. It was fun, they played Liar's Dice and sooner or later Jack and I went home, leaving the boys to finish. Sleep.
On Monday the boys went home and I took Jack to LaPlace to get his hair cut. It's worrisome how strange it is to be without that dog. I kept looking at his bed to check on him. I didn't leave the apartment until Wednesday night to go and get him. Last night I cleaned the apartment and Autum came over at 10 to hang out. I know way too many things about my sister that I did not need to know. Sleep.
Sid is swimming now and Bryan and Scott come over tonight because we have Glenn and Derek's housewarming tomorrow night. Not sure what's on the docket for Sunday.
I am looking forward to my birthday at Picayune, though I am worried people will flake out.
Nothing else going on, except for a lot of blog project work.
Back to the monotony.
