Right on target

So, I'm staying here.

To get my shit straight. So that when it comes time for me to be able to buy what I want (or at least close to it) I don't have to compromise. I'm already making inroads on my credit cards and paying off the one bill on my credit. Going to drop my resigned lease off on Friday.

Can't tell you how hard my stomach clenched when I opened my door on Monday to let Jack out and saw that envelope, but it only went up $20, which is entirely doable. Over the weekend we went to Target and I got a new floatie for the pool, which is FINALLY open after a year and change. Went swimming and found a great new BBQ place in Harahan that had one of the best Cuban sandwiches I've ever eaten. Otherwise, just been enjoying the weather (it was hurricane force gales yesterday, I was happy as a pig in shit) and for some odd reason I got paid early today so I paid off all my bills and signed up to go get Jack his shots on my next check, which is the date of the tubing trip but I don't think anyone's going.

I also got my AC fixed, praise Jesus and hold his motherfuckin' hand. Turned out it was a leaky valve and it feels great in here. Sure as HELL wasn't signing another lease and living in an apartment where it's 90 degrees in my living room. Knowing that the lease thing is behind me is like a huge load off of my shoulders. Work is going great too, so that helps as well. I need to get better at updating this, even though no one reads. Future me might want to know.

Just ordered a pizza and going to take a bath and enjoy the rain and new, clean sheets.
