I haven't written in here for a minute.
Had an unexpected windfall in the $ department so I've been running around and Getting Things Done. Ha. Getting Things Done. Not to be confused with Going To Target A Lot. Because I've gone to Target. A lot.
My fridge looks like the fridge of a pro-footballer.
Good things have happened, though. Went to a comic book shop and got a vintage Chewy poster. Booked a trip. Learned how to ward off a panic attack from Grey's Anatomy (the trick is to have something or someone suppress your central nervous system, which works best when someone hugs you very tight, but can also be achieved by putting a heavy book on ones chest or lap) and have been meeting my work quota of 25-30 cases a day. Scheduled a hair appointment. Got a cheeseboard. Refilled my Synthroid and have been taking it. Bathing in coffee. Buying a sun catcher, which makes me happy because when I wake up I can watch it play across my bedroom. Bought a jellyfish poster.
I have been doing all these things and preparing myself and my apartment like the world is going to be ending and I need to have all these things stocked. Like something's coming. Which would probably make a lot of sense, since 2021 isn't looking too great already.
I'm very happy to see that Entergy's getting called out for all those bill hikes. People are pissed. I knew I wasn't crazy. There was no way I could have racked up those bills. Motherfuckers need to return that money to people. Like that'll ever fucking happen. I'm just glad they're getting their asses spanked. Taking advantage of people being holed up in their houses and not having money during a pandemic is seriously low.
I am doing better. Which is good. I do have moments of panic, panic that stems from nowhere and nothing and causes me to take six baths a night, but I've been trying to keep busy.
Tomorrow is Autum's thing and I have to pick up things. Making meatballs when I wake up. And if you can't believe that things are changing, I BOUGHT A BOARD GAME. Yes, me. A 90's board game.
The more things change.
