But days turn into months...

Went to Renfaire yesterday.

It was a good time, even if things were scaled down. A lot of the shops were closed but there was a fair amount of people out there. I got some jambalaya (not too bad but I needed help to finish it and Lacey actually took a bite) and James had brought some super unleaded moonshine, since it was byob and the pub was closed this year. We had fun, walked around, took some pictures, looked at the birds. Scott bought a sword. We went back up to the front to wait on Tyler and had laughing fits, and when he got there we did another circuit. I got chocolate covered cheesecake on a stick(yess) and we watched the jousting and dicked around some more. Bryan bought $80 worth of roasted nuts. We only saw one plague doctor. I bought some earrings from that Rainbow Crystal place. All in all, pretty damn good time. Got on the road back home, stopped to pick up food from Chateau Pub, ate and then we all promptly passed the fuck out.

Sunday we lazed around and I did a lot of pictures (my new copier/scanner is the tits) until Brad texted Scott in the afternoon and asked if we wanted to go grab some food. We all went to Copelands (Copelands burger mmm) and discussed a tentative trip to the Texas Renfaire, which is 3x bigger than ours. Decided to go back to Brad and Liz's to watch the newest episode of Mando, even though Scott and I had seen it before (such an epic episode) and then we played two rounds of Disturbed Friends. I came home to do some laundry then went over to pick the boys up and then when we got back we pretty much hit the sack. All in all, good weekend.

Not looking forward to this weekend, though.

Finishing Xmas shopping and paying a lot of bills (which I have to do when I get out of here) and hopefully not having a nervous breakdown. Have to buy work shoes and some pants, because I'm fairly certain I'll be going into the new office to train until I'm ready to work from home. I'm so ready for Christmas to be over.

Nina passed her Epic test and should have access this AM and closes for the first time. Going to have to accelerate things because my transfer date is Dec 21st. Apparently they wanted me sooner than that but since Hope is losing both Katie and I, they had to wait.

I want to go back to bed.
